ASK ME ANYTHING.
I’m going to be speaking again.

Hey there, Internet pals that live somewhere near Kansas City. Want to come see me speak? You just happen to be in luck, because I’ll be giving a modified version of my talk, “How To Be Creative (OR: How Can I Possibly Do Justice To This Subject In One Hour?)” to the Independent Filmmaker’s Coalition on July 21st, 6:30pm at the Westport Coffee House.

This talk, originally created for the advertising students at the University of Missouri School of Journalism, is going to be modified to talk about creativity in general, not just as applied to filmmaking. I also plan to make it much more interactive than the one-sided lecture that it was designed to be.

The IFC meeting is open to the public. However, according to their website, it will cost $5.00 for all non-IFC members to stay for my seminar. I guess it’s up to you to decide if I’m worth a Fourthmeal or not.

I hope to see you there!

the MARTINI SHAKER IS DEAD. LONG LIVE the ROCKS GLASS.

the ROCKS GLASS is one of those fancy-schmancy Tumblr sites that happens to be curated by Kansas City-based creative generalist Jeremy Fuksa.

“Creative generalist” sounds like an aggrandized term. It is. But, it rolls off the tongue much easier than Designer, Developer, Writer, Broadcaster, Filmmaker, Speaker, Musician, Photographer and Attention Whore. Plus, it looks way cooler on a business card.

The author wishes to acknowledge that there are bare wires laying about. Please take care not to trip on them.
